S/S 27 Color Palette Creation
Developing the Spring/Summer 2027 color direction for Horseware Ireland was a balance of data, trend research, and equestrian-specific creativity. The goal wasn’t simply to identify what colors would be trending, but to translate those trends into a palette that felt relevant to the equestrian customer and made sense for the Horseware brand.
01—Look Back
I started by reviewing previous seasonal fashion colors alongside sales data to understand which colors resonated with customers, which performed well commercially, and where there were opportunities to evolve the assortment.
02—Look Ahead
Next, I researched emerging fashion and color trend forecasts for Spring/Summer 2027. Rather than directly translating runway trends, I considered how those colors could be adapted for the equestrian market, balancing fashion-forward direction with the practical, timeless sensibility of equestrian apparel.
03—Make it Horseware
I translated the trend research into a curated color options specifically for Horseware Ireland, considering the brand’s existing color language, product assortment, seasonal storytelling, and the needs of both wholesale and direct-to-consumer customers. I created Photoshop moodboards using carry-forward products to see the colors applied to real products. It made it easier for stakeholders to visualize how the palette would work across an assortment and evaluate the overall seasonal color stories.
03—Bring it to Life
The result was a commercially informed, trend-aware color direction that connected broader fashion trends to the specific customer, product, and brand needs of Horseware Ireland.
