A/W 24 SmartPak Hadley Color
For SmartPak’s Autumn/Winter 2024 Hadley collection, I developed a sophisticated seasonal color palette rooted in traditional equestrian style. Unlike Piper’s playful, trend-driven personality, Hadley was designed to feel polished, timeless, and professional, balancing classic color with subtle seasonal updates.
01—Define the Brand
I began by looking at Hadley’s existing color history and established visual identity to understand the shades that felt authentic to the collection. The goal was to build on its classic equestrian foundation while creating opportunities for the assortment to feel fresh.
02—Research the Season
I reviewed seasonal fashion color forecasts and the broader equestrian marketplace to identify emerging colors that could translate into Hadley’s more refined aesthetic. I focused on sophisticated, wearable shades that would complement rather than overpower the collection.
03—Build a Timeless Story
The final palette was designed to reinforce Hadley’s position as a polished, professional, and distinctly equestrian collection. Rather than chasing short-lived trends, the color direction used seasonal influence selectively to create products that felt current while remaining timeless.
The result was a refined AW24 color story that brought a fresh perspective to traditional equestrian style while maintaining the sophistication, versatility, and professionalism at the heart of the Hadley collection.
