A/W 24 SmartPak Piper Color

For SmartPak’s Autumn/Winter 2024 Piper collection, I developed “Electric Winter,” the seasonal evolution of the S/S24 “Neon Summer” palette. Rather than treating each season as a standalone color story, the goal was to create a year-long marketing narrative built around fun, energetic pop colors that could transition naturally from summer into winter.

01—Continue the Story

I began by looking at the SS24 Neon Summer palette and identifying the opportunity to carry its playful, high-energy spirit into the colder months. The challenge was to evolve the colors for AW24 without losing the recognizable personality established in the summer collection.

02—Evolve the Palette

I developed the Electric Winter direction by adapting the bright, saturated energy of Neon Summer into a palette that felt appropriate for autumn and winter. The result was a collection of bold pops of color balanced with deeper, seasonal tones.

03—Build Cohesion

Color was considered across the broader Piper assortment to ensure the palette worked cohesively across products and created visual connections between seasons. The continuity allowed customers to recognize the Piper color story while giving the AW24 collection its own distinct personality.

04—Bring Electric Winter to Life

The final palette became a key part of the seasonal creative story, providing a consistent visual language for product, marketing, and merchandising. By intentionally connecting SS24 and AW24, the Neon Summer → Electric Winter progression created a year-long story around color, personality, and fun.

The result was a cohesive two-season color narrative that kept Piper bright, playful, and recognizable while proving that bold color doesn’t have to be limited to summer.
